Our vacation to NC

Megan is afraid of heights.

My wife has to be one of the greatest people in the world. After sending me back to school for web development, she surprised me with a congratulations trip to North Carolina. She (mostly) conquered her fear of steep mountain roads and winding staircases.

The timing of it all coincided with the arrival of my 360 camera so I obviously had to give it a spin at every stop we made.

I won't bore you with too many (awesome) details that will give you vacation jealousy, but I did create a few tours of the places we stayed in and around Asheville.

The city itself was amazing, but the stilt house was probably cooler. It featured a loft, mountain views, private gated driveway, and an LED lit hot tub.

We called this one the mountain get away. It had an incredibly peaceful mountain view from the deck. I'll have to post that photo to the blog one day.

This place also had a private hot tub, a hiking trail, and a secluded pond and gazebo. We even took a private yoga class and got couple's massages here. There really isn't anywhere better than this place.
